Coolest part about this new album is Andrew is doing a TON of screaming. Majority of the screams on this track are him, and he screams on every track of the album!

My favorites song on this album

Hardest vocalist to get into. I never thought I would tbh. Then I went and saw them live, and was absolutely blown away. The energy and chaos from the band and the crowd was unmatched. The next day I forced myself to listen to them and now they’re one of my favorite bands, probably top 3

These two tracks are my fav on the whole album

They formed and released albums before Nightwish and Evanescence. Way better band overall because they just do whatever they want creatively and have never compromised just so they can keep record labels or fans happy. The result is a discography of 8 (9 if you include their album of covers) studio albums that all have quite different styles. The album this song is from, The Unforgiving, is a concept album and also an intentional throwback to the 80s.

It took me a while to get into Kaonashi, but after their recent EP I fell in love. Super heavy and there's a lot of themes and storytelling connecting all of their songs. Definitely dive into their work more and dig into the lore, they're doing something I don't see many bands doing these days.
